We went to Milwaukee for the weekend and stayed with my good friend who owns 2 golden retrievers. The girls and the dogs were in heaven:).

Pumpkin Roll

We went to visit my parents the weekend of the annual pumpkin roll in their town. It's a random event where people stand around for a really long time to roll a pumpkin down a hill. The girls (mostly Harper) were kind of over it by the time they actually go a turn to roll their pumpkins, but the weather was nice, and it was a great day.

Four Years and Seven Months!

Life has been very busy since the girls started swimming lessons and time is flying!

At four years and seven months:
  • The girls both love to "read" to us at night, Harper especially. They always ask if they can read the book "however they want":).
  • They still love their blankies above all other toys.
  • They love all things princess, dress up, and My Little Pony.
  • They love going for walks and riding bikes.
  • The girls can both swim for short periods independently. Tannah doesn't ever want to wear a puddle jumper anymore.
  • The girls wear size 5 clothes and size 11 shoes.
  • They love Disney movies, Paw Patrol, and Sophia the First.
  • They still love dogs and tell me how much they'd like a real dog at least once a week.
  • They are loving swimming lessons.
  • They love Paw Patrol, Strawberry Shortcake, and Frozen.
  • They love preschool and Darcy. They get so excited whenever Mrs. Hurt, their Aide from last year, is at preschool.
  • Their favorite friend is Tempi.
The girls are so much fun!

Disney on Ice

We took the girls to see Disney on Ice with Wei-Yand's sister and her kids. I heard that some kids dress up, and I knew the girls would be bummed if they saw other kids in costume and they weren't. They coordinated with their cousin.

Pumpkin Patch

We tried a new pumpkin patch this year, and it was great. The girls only agreed to it after they were promised there would be pony rides:)

The girls had so much fun in the corn mazes. one was a story, and they had others where you had to find mailboxes and figure out clues and find animals. It was so cute watching the girls run to try to find the stations in the maze.

The girls both tore through this maze in which you had 60 seconds to hit 4 buzzers. I was seriously impressed.

The corn box.
