5 years and 3 months!

We're starting to talk about Kindergarten, and it's very clear that my girls are growing up.

At 5 years and 3 months:
  • The girls are loving summer vacation. Darcy has a different activity planned for each day, so we have a calendar of activities for the girls to look forward to.
  • We went to see Finding Dory today, and the girls loved it. They call it "Dory Gets Lost." So cute!
  • They love to pick out their own clothes and are very into shoes.
  • They love swimming and playing outside. They were showing me their mermaid and dolphin tricks the other night.
  • They still sleep together 95% of the time. Probably half of the nights they spend alone are because we separate them.
  • They wear size 5 and 6 clothes and size 11 shoes, but are moving up into size 12's.
  • Tannah has lost two teeth!
  • The girls love jumping on our neighbors trampoline and playing with water balloons.
  • Tannah has made a few attempts at riding a bike without training wheels, but she's not there quite yet.
I'm loving this age. They are fun and loving and love to snuggle.

Happy Independence Day!

Our 4th of July was full of fun and family. Wei-Yand's family came to visit again this year, and we all took the train to Chicago for the girls' firs trip to the Shedd Aquarium on Friday. The girls loved the Aquarium, but they got a little bored on the train.

Our neighborhood held its annual party again this year. The fireworks were again spectacular. The girls decorated their bikes and stayed right with the pack for the first time this year.

Darcy was at the party. This might have been the highlight of the day for the girls. They love her so much, and she loves them right back.

The girls got to experience Snap Pops for the first time. They were a hit.

And the giant sparklers came out again.

We even managed to talk Harper into trying it this year.

It was a great day of fun!
