Happy Halloween!

We went to visit Wei-Yand's sister and her family for Halloween weekend because we had tickets to Disney on Ice. The girls had a blast dressing up and trick-or-treating with their cousins. They definitely went to way more houses than we have in the past and therefore received way more candy than ever before. They started to complain that their bags were too heavy toward the end. I told them they could only get as much candy as they could carry:)

Llama Llama

Our local library held an evening story time with the theme Llama Llama Red Pajama. Not only are the Llama Llama books among the girls favorites, but they had real llamas there. The girls loved it.

Apple Picking

The Honeycrisp apples are amazing this year, so we went out to our local apple orchard to stock up.

I made them take this picture sitting on an apple crate because it reminded me of a picture I took four years ago with both of the girls in an apple crate.

Four and a Half!!

I'm a few days late on this post, but the picture was taken on the 8th:)

At four and a half:
  • The girls both love to "read" to us at night. They always ask if they can read the book "however they want":).
  • They still love their blankies above all other toys.
  • They love princess, dress up, and babies.
  • They love going for walks and riding bikes.
  • Tannah can whistle!!
  • Harper, while sometimes strong willed, is such a sweet, compassionate little girl, she just melts my heart.
  • Tannah's favorite foods are hot dogs, French fries, and corn.
  • Harper's favorite food is macaroni and cheese. But don't let her fool you. She loves dumplings, pretty much all of Ye-Ye's cooking, and seaweed salad. She is her daddy's girl.
  • The girls wear size 5 clothes and size 11 shoes.
  • They love Disney movies, Paw Patrol, and Sophia the First.
  • They still love dogs and tell me how much they'd like a real dog at least once a week.
  • They are loving swimming lessons.
This is such fun age! They're sweet and funny and love their mommy and daddy like crazy!

Health Fair

Our work had a health fair one weekend in September, so we went to check it out. Tannah and I arrived early, and she ran in her first race. It was a 1K, and she didn't want to run alone, so I ran with her. She got two pumpkins (one for her and one for Harper) and a tshirt.

The face painter was amazing!

Fall Festival

Wei-Yand had to stay in Iowa for an extra day, so the girls and I hit up the local fall festival. There were bounce houses, face painting, decorating cupcakes, magic tricks, and balloon animals. It was a blast.
