At 26 months:
- The girls are talking up a storm. They love to point out buses and motorcycles when we're driving, and they speak in 3-6 word sentences.
- Tannah can count to 10 (although she always skips 7). Both girls can sing their ABC's.
- They love balls, bikes. books, and bags. They are also really into puzzles right now.
- They love parks and slides. They have figured out how to climb up slides, and they love to do that over and over and over.
- They love fruit. During a meal, they will generally eat about two bites, push their plate away and say, "All done, I want fruit". Fortunately after they eat their fruit they go back and eat more of the rest of their dinner.
- They drink about two sippy cups of milk per day. They are also starting to get open cups of water at dinner. They drink out of them with no problems, but we have to watch out for knocking the cups over.
- They wear size 2T clothes, size 5 diapers, and size 6 shoes.
- They like to dress themselves and generally do everything possible by themselves. When we went to the park today, I must have heard "no, mama" at least 10 times when I was trying to help Harper do something.
- They sleep from around 7:30 pm until 7:00 am. They generally sleep until 8 or 8:30 on the weekends, which is really nice for Mommy and Daddy.
- They are starting to play with each other more and more. They are doing really well with sharing and taking turns.
Life is a lot of fun around here. I can't wait until the water warms up and we can start hitting the beach on the weekends!
