Two and a Half

I cannot believe how fast the past two and a half years have flown by. I think that two and a half is officially when the girls stopped looking like babies and started looking like little girls. How did that happen?

At 30 months:

• They love to ride bikes (and can both pedal), play with their cozy coupes and scooter, slide, swing, hang from the monkey bars, and play with their balls.
• They talk constantly, and their speech is pretty clear (at least to us).
• They love to tease each other. They are constantly grabbing each others' blankets and puppies (the current favorite toys) and running off with them leaving their sister screaming. 
• We sing our goodnight song and Take Me Out to the Ball Game every night. Then we give big hugs and kisses (usually while singing the ABC's or Old McDonald or both:).
• Tannah has 20 teeth, and Harper has 18.
• They wear size 2T pants and size 3T tops. They wear size 7 shoes.
• They are about 95% potty trained during the day. I'm amazed by how easy this has been.
• They sleep from about 8 until 7. Since we started potty training, they've been waking up early in the mornings and sometimes during the middle of the night.
• They love their blankies and puppies and big hugs and kisses and to be tucked in every night.
• They like to "cook" for us in their play kitchen. 
• They watched their first movie this month. It was the Lorax, and they now ask to watch movies on a regular basis. They usually don't get to watch them, and throw huge fits when I say no.
• Speaking of saying no. If someone says no to them, they get all confused and keep saying, "_______ said no to me" like they can't believe it.
• They absolutely love their daycare provider's dog, and continue to be obsessed with all dogs.
• They love to look for horses on the way to and from daycare.

They are full of drama and are very good at pushing buttons, but they are so sweet and adorable. My heart is full to bursting with love for them!
