Three and a Half!

Three and a half. So, so much fun, and so, so much drama:)

At 3 and a half:
  • It's still all about the puppy around here, although Harper is also showing a fondness for horses and unicorns.
  • Their most requested show is Sheriff Callie. Sometimes they also ask for Dora and Paw Patrol.
  • They ask to go to our neighbors house after work pretty much every single day.
  • They love going to the library at preschool and get so excited to show me the books they borrowed.
  • Tannah is obsessed with making fans. She makes them constantly.
  • The girls love to color and paint.
  • They wear size 4T shirts and pants. They wear size 9 shoes.
  • They sleep from about 8:30 until 7. We are restricting their naps to 45 min to an hour and bedtime is going much better. It also doesn't hurt that I stocked up in Frozen tattoos and stickers as well as rings and other small toys. They earn a tattoo or sticker every night they stay in their bed. After five tattoos/stickers they get to pick out a ring, necklace, or puzzle. It's going pretty well so far.
  • They love their blankies and puppies and big hugs and kisses.
  • One of the Llama Llama books is always the most requested.
  • The girls ask to "tell me a question" every night. For a while their questions always related to whether I would feed them in the morning (you'd think I never gave them food), then they started asking for specific foods. For the past few weeks, they've been stuck on cherries, which are no longer in season. Every single night they yell, "when we wake up, I still want cherries!".
  • They love head bands and barrettes, but never keep them in all day.
  • They're still refusing pants for the most part. They only want skirts and dresses.
  • They love weekends because we let them "sneak" into our bed and sleep with us until the morning (and they generally sleep until 7:30 or 8 in our bed).
They still fight a lot, but they're also best friends. They are such fun little people!
