The girls wanted to be "fancy" for New Year's Eve, so they each picked out fancy dresses for the occasion.
My parents came to spend the evening with us. Since we didn't have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner in 2015, we cooked a turkey and had a fantastic meal. The girls got to try sparkling juice, but they didn't really like it.
They got to stay up until around 10, and we watched King Julian's countdown on Netflix, and we tucked them into bed. At 11:30, they were still awake, and at 11:50 Tannah had fallen asleep, but Harper was awake, so she got to come downstairs for the ball drop. Both girls outlasted Grandpa:) It was a fun, quiet celebration.
