Disney Cruise Day 2: At Sea

On Monday morning, we had tickets to meet Anna and Elsa at 9:45 am. We had breakfast at Parrot Cay, and Tannah wanted to meet Daisy before the Frozen meet & greet. Tannah was so excited to meet Daisy. Harper declared she didn't want to meet anyone until she was able to meet Dale, so Tannah got to do this one by herself.

So happy

I had told the girls they could each bring one princess dress. Harper chose Elsa, and Tannah chose Anna. We saw the Princess meet & greet in the atrium, so we knew that the Princesses we would meet later in the week were Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, and Mulan. Elsa is still the absolute favorite Princess, although she took a backseat to Daisy and Dale this week partly because those characters were more accessible, so the girls saw them almost every day. They still loved meeting Anna and Elsa. They weren't quite as sure about Olaf:)

We had lunch at Triton's, which is also where we were scheduled to eat dinner. The menu changes daily, so while we ate several meals at two of the main restaurants, we never saw the same things on the menu.

After lunch, Wei-Yand and Tannah went to watch Zootopia, but Harper really wanted to meet Chip and Dale. We knew that "Mickey and friends" were out, so we decided to check out who was there. Luckily, Chip and Dale were there, but it was set up so that you waited in one line to meet Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and finally Chip and Dale. Harper only wanted to meet Chip and Dale, but agreed to meet the others as long as I was with her and she was "on the other side."

When she finally got to Chip and Dale, she completely ignored Chip and only went to Dale. Poor Chip.

Worth the price of the cruise

Ha, ha, ha!

After that, Harper wanted to go to the kids club for Chip and Dale Rescue Ranger training. Tannah was still at the movie, so I was really proud of Harper for going on her own. I got to relax on the deck with a book for a while, which was great.

After the movie, Tannah went to the kids club to pick Harper up with me. Chip and Dale hadn't made their appearance yet, so we left the girls and ran to our friends' room to help celebrate Steve's 40th birthday.

We picked the girls up and went back to our room to rest for a while before the night's show.

Monday was the optional formal night. The girls and I dressed up, but Wei-Yand did not. Before dinner, the girls wanted to meet Chip and Dale again, so they put on their dresses that I made them for the meet & greet. Chip and Dale were already dressed up for formal night.

We really enjoyed the entertainment on the boat. Monday night's show was "The Golden Mickey's," which paid tribute to all things Disney.

After the show, the girls changed into their fancy Elsa dresses, and we had a delicious dinner at Triton's.

Since we were in the late seating, every night at 9:15 workers from the kids club came down to the restaurant and brought kids up to the kids club if they wanted to go. Dinners were long, so that was a great option. That night, Belle was scheduled to read a story in the kids club, and the girls really wanted to go to that. It was really nice.
