Bath Time!

Wei-Yand has had to work late a lot in the past few weeks, so I've been doing bath time solo.  The girls generally enjoy it; the hardest part is keeping them seated.  The bottom of our tub isn't slippery, but I worry about them slipping and falling.  I spend a lot of time saying, "we sit down in the bathtub".

Wei-Yand made it home in time for baths last week, so I was able to snap a few pictures.

The girls always get very exicted and stand by the tub while the water fills.

They aren't huge fans of getting water dumped on their heads, but they generally tolerate it.

Baby Bathtime

The girls are still a little ambivalent at bath time.  They generally tolerate it, but don't necessarily love it.  I'm hopeful things will get better when they're big enough (and can sit up well enough) to move into the big bath tub. 

Right now we have a system for bathing both girls.  One of us gets the bathtub set up in the kitchen while the other entertains both girls.  I generally do the baths, and we select which girl goes first based on temperament that evening.  After the bath, Wei-Yand takes over for a baby massage and PJ's.

For my shower, Aunt Brynne bought us some totally cute (and totally unpractical when you're trying to get twins bathed and in bed:) robes.  It took a few months, but I got them into the robes for a few pictures before bed.
