Saying Goodbye

I had a really hard time saying goodbye to my co-workers and an even harder time saying goodbye to the girls' daycare teachers.  We were very lucky to find a daycare that we loved, and knowing that the girls had very loving, caring teachers made it easy to leave one in someone else's care five days a week.

I brought my camera in one day last week to get a few pictures of the girls with their teachers.  Their teachers also made them a card with their hand prints as well as the hand prints of all of the babies in their class.  I still get teary when I look at it.  They were too sweet.

The pigs were a gift from their teachers because the girls absolutely loved a giant stuffed pig that they had in their classroom.  We're definitely going to miss everyone at their daycare!

First Day of Daycare

Time is flying, and it's almost time for Wei-Yand to go back to work.  We decided to have the girls start daycare a week before he goes back so we could transition them into it.  I took the day off of work so I could spend as much time as needed getting the girls ready and getting them used to daycare.  Here are my big girls on their first day.

We get daily reports for each baby.  Yesterday's reports were:

Harper enjoyed making new friends and checking out the toys:)  We did lots of talking and snuggling.  Slept well, ate ok.  A wonderful first day:)

Tannah enjoyed singing songs, snuggling, and getting to know some new friends.  Playing under the toy bar was fun too.  Lots of smiles and using her feet on the toy bar.  Good eating and sleeping.  Wonderful first day:)

I think we'll like this place.
