23 Months!

And full of attitude:)  In a good way of course. These two are something else.  They are funny, energetic, delightful little girls, and they bring so much joy to my life!

The next two are what happened when I asked them to give their sister a hug:)

At 23 months:

  • The girls love books (especially first word books, the Little People Christmas book, and any book with flaps), climbing on their Stride to Ride Dinosaur and through their tunnel, their toy kitchen, and their blankets and stuffed puppies.
  • They both know at least 50 words, and seem to be adding more every day.
  • They love, love, love shoes and are very particular about which ones they want to wear.
  • They love yogurt, goldfish, applesauce, cheese, pasta, hot dogs, and pretty much all fruit. They're pretty good little eaters.
  • They drink about two sippy cups of milk per day.
  • They wear size 2T clothes and size 6 shoes. They wear size 5 diapers.
  • They love to climb on our dining room chairs and eat at the big table.
  • They love music, dancing, and nursery rhymes. We listen to Pandora a lot in the car, and they clap at the end of each song, but then quickly start yelling "more, more, more!".  Tannah especially is not impressed when we have to listen to a commercial.
  • They give fantastic hugs and real kisses.
  • They sleep from about 6:45/7 until 6:45, and they take one nap. Tannah is still fighting that nap, but some days she still takes a good 2-3 hour snooze.
  • Both girls have 16 teeth, we're just waiting on their two year molars.
  • They are starting to have periods where they play together independently, but we have to watch them very carefully because if they get upset about something, they still bite:(
  • They love to jump, and are starting to count to get ready for it.  If I say one, they will both say two.

  • They are pretty much the most amazing daughters a mother for which a mother could ever wish (not that I'm biased or anything:).

    1. Jacki, I can't believe how big your girls are getting. I don't get your updates in my FB feed for whatever reason :/ Zuckerberg deciding who my friends are LOL. I hope you all are settling into your new digs!! It's so hard to get anything done right? I would kill for one piece of art/picture hung on a wall. Le sigh. Someday...

      1. I know! I'm always interested in what your two are up to since the girls are just a couple months behind them. Nothing gets done while the girls are awake unless my parents are around to distract them:) You might not see my FB updates because I'm not very good about updating very often. Oops:) Hope you're settling in too. Your house is gorgeous!
