The Sickies

We've enjoyed a relatively illness-free winter.  By "relatively", I mean that the girls have had runny noses and coughs on and off, but nothing that has caused them to be sent home from daycare.  That changed this week.

Tannah ran a slight fever on Saturday and had some random stomach issues, but since she was fever-free on Sunday the girls went to daycare as usual on Monday.  Tuesday morning we had a very early wake-up because of another stomach issue for Tannah, but since it was different than what was going on over the weekend, and it seemed to be an isolated incident, (and perhaps I didn't fully realize the extent of the issue because I kept the lights dim while I cleaned her up because I was hoping she would go back to sleep), so the girls went to daycare.  We got the call that morning to go pick her up because she vomited, so I went and bought both of the girls, and we spent the day together.

Because I have amazing parents, but dad agreed to come down and spend Wed. with the girls so Wei-Yand and I could both go to work.  The girls love Grandpa, so they had a blast.  They also had no issues, so it seems to have been a short-lived bug.

Going for a walk and picking flowers for mommy

Thanking Grandpa for spending the day with them

Waiting by the window to wave goodbye to Grandpa:)
