3 Years and 5 Months

Getting these two to pose for a picture has been a challenge lately, but I finally managed to get a good one:)

The girls picked out their own pajamas at the store. Harper chose butterflies, and Tannah chose monkeys. I love seeing them develop into their own little people.

At 3 years and 5 months:
  • The girls still love puppies and horses. Every time we see a horse, Tannah reminds me that she "still hasn't ever ridden a horse".
  • They are still obsessed with our neighbors. They always ask to go over to see Ella and Grace, and they like to talk about what Ella and Grace are doing.
  • They love to dance and "shake their booties".
  • They wear size 4T shirts and size 3T pants. They wear size 9 shoes.
  • They sleep from about 8:30 until 7. We've significantly cut back on naps, which has helped make bedtime a little easier. They are earning stickers for going to bed well. Depending on the day they will tell you they want to earn Crocky - a stuffed baby crocodile on the Pirate Fairy, a griffin from Sophia the First, or a pair of princess shoes from the Disney Store.
  • Their favorite show is still Paw Patrol, but they are starting to ask for Sheriff Callie's Wild West on a regular basis.
  • They love their blankies and puppies and big hugs and kisses. They love our nursery rhyme books, and and Llama Llama.
  • Harper had to go to preschool alone on her second day because Tannah had a nasty respiratory virus, and I was so proud of how brave she was. Harper has been a lot more nervous about preschool than Tannah, so it was really hard for her to go on her own without her sister by her side. She was such a big girl and had so much fun.
  • The girls mostly pick out their own clothes and generally prefer to wear "skirts". Getting them into the multiple pairs of jeans I bought for fall is probably going to prove to be difficult.
  • They love doing things as a family like "family dinners" and "family swims".
  • They love going for walks, playing softball and hockey, and their plasma car.
