Wei-Yand's sister let us borrow some of her timeshare points, so we were able to stay in a one-bedroom villa at Disney's Boardwalk Villas for a very reasonable price. That worked out really well for us because we had plenty of space as well as a kitchen, washer, and dryer.
I got all pinterest-crazy and sewed each of the girls four dresses. I made them autograph books, and we were set for our adventure.
Saturday morning, we woke the girls up at 4:30 am to make it to Chicago for our flight. That flight was uneventful. The girls and I sat in one row, and as we were landing, Tannah held Harper's hand because she said she thought Harper was a little nervous about the landing:).
We took the Disney Magical Express bus to our hotel, and our room was ready when we arrived. The Boardwalk sits on a lake in the Epcot park area and is themed like Atlantic City, complete with a boardwalk with shops and restaurants.
The girls got a special surprise when our luggage arrived.
We ate lunch at the Boardwalk Bakery and decided we should figure out how to get around the resort. We took the bus to Magic Kingdom, rode the monorail around the Magic Kingdom resorts, and took the boat to Epcot.
We got off at the Grand Floridian, which I loved. It's gorgeous. When we took the boat to Epcot, we realized just how close we were, and that it would be faster to walk than to wait for the bus.
That night we went to Downtown Disney for dinner. We ate at Wolfgang Puck Express, and went back to our room to try to get to bed at a decent time so we could get to the Magic Kingdom when it opened the next day.
