Disney World Day 5 - Rest Day

A lot of people recommended at least one rest day during our trip, and I am so glad I listened to them. After three days of going to the parks when they opened and staying out until the parks closed, we were ready for a break. Harper and I got up around 8:30. We got tired or waiting for Tannah and Wei-Yand to wake up, so we left to explore at 10:30. We went to the community hall to do some crafts, and Tannah and Wei-Yand found us there. The girls made necklaces and colored masks. Harper also enjoyed playing with the stuffed Disney characters.

We met up with my friends for lunch at the Beach Club resort, which was right across the lake from our hotel. I got a nice picture of the Boardwalk from the other side of the lake.

The high had only been around 60 every day we were at Disney, but I promised the girls we would go swimming. Luckily, the pools are heated to 80 degrees, so it wasn't so bad in the water, but it was quite cold when you got out.

The Boardwalk has a waterslide that exits through a crazy clown mouth. The girls had a blast on the water slide, and we swam for about an hour before everyone's lips were shaking.

After a bath in the jetted tub, we cleaned up and went to Downtown Disney for dinner. The girls fell asleep on the bus ride there, so they slept for a while in the stroller. We checked out the lego store and grabbed a Mickey Rice Krispie Treat before heading back to the hotel.
