The girls got their first (long overdue) hair cuts today. Harper's hair has grown faster, but it has been slightly more manageable. Tannah's hair grew long on top and generally looks like she just walked through a wind tunnel. I've tried to keep it out of their eyes using bows (generally pulled out within five minutes) and pony tails (generally pulled out sometime before we pick them up from daycare). I plan to let their hair grow longer, but it needed to be tidied up a bit.
Before:
Tannah freaked out when they put the cape on her, but she calmed down when I held her hands.
Wei-Yand had Harper on the other side of the salon, but I heard her start to cry right after Tannah started, so apparently she needed to sit on Daddy's lap.
I wish I would have gotten better after pictures, but the girls were too excited and were running all over the salon.
It's pretty amazing what a difference a small trim can make! They both look adorable, and despite the trauma, were waving and saying by to the ladies who cut their hair:)
