Despite the fact that I've been on vacation for almost two weeks, life seems like it has been very busy. That means that I'm going to have to catch up on blog posts about our Christmas activities during January.
I was really excited to make Christmas cookies with the girls. I thought that they would get a big kick out of decorating them. Unfortunately, the day that we were supposed to go to my Aunt's house for a cookie baking party, my cousin came down with strep throat. My Aunt had the ingredients for cut-out cookies, so we improvised with some of the dough from the chocolate covered cherry cookies I planned to make. The girls love to help cook, and I was right that they loved making cookies.
Note - poor little Harper got scratched the night before, and unfortunately has a scab in all of our Christmas pictures this year.
