Pumpkins!
Last year I picked up a bunch of Halloween supplies on clearance at Target. Included in those supplies was Mr. Potato Head Pumpkin decorating kits. I highly recommend these as an alternative to carving pumpkins with little kids. The girls loved it, and they're super cute.
