Snowy Days

January brought the Polar Vortex to us, and we were snowed in for four days. When I asked Wei-Yand if he was going to snow blow, his response was, "it's not a question of if I'm going to snow blow, it's how many times will I have to snow blow today":). He was right, it was multiple times.

Our work wasn't closed, but we were encouraged to work from home. This made for watching too much tv for the girls, but they also amused themselves by make a train. I thought it was very creative of them.

Side note - they love that Jeep so much. They don't even seem to care that we haven't hooked up the battery, they just say that it's out of gas and continue to play.

Wei-Yand was supposed to be travelling for work that week, and the snow storm bought him an extra day at home with us. On Tuesday, they decided they could leave, but he had to push his ride out of our neighborhood.

The girls and I were very excited to get out of the house when the plows finally finally came through on Wednesday! They sang "we're going to Darcy's house" over and over on our way to daycare. It was cracking me up.

It's still super cold, so I'm looking forward to taking a warm weather vacation this winter!
