First, a very Happy Birthday to my little ladies. I love you both so much! I'll try to do a birthday post this evening. Since the girls' birthday is on Easter this year, we did Easter baskets in the morning, and will open birthday presents (and have a cupcake!) this afternoon/evening.
We died Easter eggs yesterday. We stuck with just pink and only six eggs because Easter egg dye with babies made me more than a little nervous.
The girls' Easter baskets were waiting for them on the love seat when then woke up this morning. They gave us a fantastic Easter/birthday present by sleeping in until 7:45! I actually woke up first this morning.
I carried the girls out of their room, and they spotted their baskets right away. They kept pointing at them, and were very excited to check them out.
The Easter Bunny was very good to Harper and Tannah. They each got a stuffed animal, a new board book, bubbles, bunny ears, and plastic eggs filled with hairbows and cheerios. The girls had a lot of fun pulling everything out of their baskets, and Tannah carried hers around for most of the morning. She was actually putting things in her basket (the girls normally just pull things out:)
